Women's Lacrosse lost a close match to Furman 13-12 Thursday afternoon.
2016: MPSF All-Academic performer … Played in all 15 games, starting 14 … Finished third on the team with 16 goals … 34 shots and 19 draw controls ranked second … 16 points was the fourth-most on the team … Six multi-point games … Scored two goals in five contests … Earned three draw controls each against Saint Mary’s, No. 7/8 USC and Denver … Took five shots each against Furman and California … Caused a pair of turnovers in the season opener against Elon, at Saint Mary’s and against UC Davis.
2015: MPSF All-Academic honoree ... Played in 17 contests with one start ... Tied for third on the team with 20 goals ... Added three assists for 23 points, the fifth-most on the Aztecs ... Took 42 shots, the Aztecs' third-most ... Netted two-or-more goals in six games, recording two hat tricks ... Scored in 12 of the 17 games she played, including a eight-game goal scoring streak (3/15-4/17) ... Four-point game against Winthrop (3/18), scoring a hat trick and dishing out an assist ... Followed that up with another hat trick against Saint Mary's (3/22), one of which was the game-winner ... Made good on six free-position attempts, going 2-for-2 against Colorado (4/12) ... Had 15 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers ... Recorded at least one point in eight of the first nine games of the season ... Scored two goals in three of the final four games of the season ... Tallied her first-career goal in a season-opening win over Davidson (2/16) ...
