Aztec Softball Hosts UNLV in Final Regular-Season Home Series
The San Diego State softball team plays host to UNLV in its final regular-season home series this weekend at SDSU Softball Stadium.

The Aztecs (26-17, 10-8 MW), who have played their last two series on the road and have not had a home game since April 15, will welcome the Rebels (23-23, 6-12 MW) at 6 p.m. PT Friday, and now 3 p.m. PT and 6 p.m. PT Saturday, with rain coming on Sunday.

SDSU continues its torrid offensive pace as it ranks first in the country in batting average (.352), eighth in slugging percentage (.509), ninth in scoring (6.37 runs per game), 11th in on-base percentage (.414) and 28th in doubles per game (1.49). San Diego State could go hitless in its next 170 at-bats (0-for-170) and still break its 2015 single-season batting average record of .310.

The Aztecs currently have five players ranked in the top 21 in the school's single-season history in batting average, led by junior Jenavee Peres (Garden Grove, Calif.)
