SAN ANTONIO, Texas - San Diego State swimming and diving team continues action at the 2014 Mountain West Championships Thursday (Feb. 20) evening with finals in five events. The meet runs through Saturday (Feb. 22) at the Palo Alto College Aquatics Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Tonight's finals lineup, which gets underway at 6:30 p.m. MT (4:30 PT), includes the 200 freestyle relay, 3-meter diving, 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley and 50 freestyle.

The Aztecs begin the day in third place after winning both the 200 medley and 800 freestyle relays during Wednesday night's finals session.

In a poll of the league's coaches taken last week, Boise State was picked as the favorite to win the 2014 title with San Diego State finishing second. The complete results of that poll are as follows:

The Aztecs are the defending conference champions and captured their first title in 2011 with Boise State taking the crown in 2012.
