Second singles saw a similar result as Nguyen fell to 50th-ranked Scandalis, 6-0, 6-1. The identical score would be posted in fifth singles as Katz outpaced Somoracz. In the closest match of the day, No. 35 Antonaña Iriarte competed with 26th-ranked Santamaria but could not close out the final, falling, 7-5, 7-5.
