SDSU Women's Tennis Defeats Air Force 4-3

SAN DIEGO - Senior Katalina Romero, freshman Alesya Vidov and sophomore Sarah Sansom recorded victories in singles and doubles as the 73rd-ranked San Diego State women's tennis team recorded a 4-3 victory at Air Force on Friday afternoon in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The victory was the third in a row for the Aztecs that improve to 8-12 overall and 4-2 in Mountain West Conference play. San Diego State will play New Mexico in Colorado Springs on Saturday at 9 a.m. MDT.

San Diego State won all three doubles matches and three singles matches in straight sets. The margin of victory could have been wider, but the Aztecs lost two grueling three-set matches.
