Freshman Sierra Ellison capped a perfect singles run to capture the SDSU Fall Classic II Singles C championship on SDSU on the final day of the event at the Aztec Tennis Center.

Ellison claimed four straight-set matches, capped by a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Brittany Baldy of Oklahoma in the final on Sunday. The freshman dropped only 17 games in eight sets at the event.

Earlier in the day, Ellison and her sister Roxanne Ellison, were unable to win the doubles title in the top bracket, suffering an 8-6 loss to Venise Chan and Denise Dy of Washington.

Overall, the Aztecs enjoyed a solid final day in their own tournament. San Diego State players combined to post a 4-1 record in singles matches, including victories in the B draw from sophomore Olivia Colman and senior Milana Yusupov.
