#48 SAN DIEGO STATE (3-2) at #52 LONG BEACH STATE (2-1)
Saturday, Feb. 13 | 1 p.m. PT | Rhodes Tennis Center

- San Diego State (3-2) will look to rebound from its second loss of the season on Thursday when it plays host to Hawai'i at Aztec Tennis Center at 2 p.m. Following its match with the Rainbow Wahine, SDSU will hit the road for a 1 p.m. PT match against No. 52 Long Beach State on Saturday.

- Julia Trunk will lead the Aztecs into the week having defeated 11th-ranked Venise Chan of No. 20 Washington in her last outing. The junior posted a hard-fought 2-6, 6-2, 7-6(5) victory over her Husky counterpart. The decision was one of the biggest upsets for San Diego State in recent memory. Trunk, who is ranked No. 11 in the Southwest Region, is 3-2 in dual-match action with all five decisions coming at first singles.

- The Aztecs welcome Hawai'i to Montezuma Mesa having defeated the Rainbow Wahine in the previous eight all-time meetings. Last season, SDSU traveled to UH and escaped with a 4-3 win.

- In the first of two straight on the road (SDSU plays at Arizona on Feb. 20), the Aztecs will take on a Long Beach State squad on Saturday that it has dominated over the years. In 31 all-time matches, San Diego State owns a record of 27-4. However in recent seasons, LBSU has turned the tables on the Aztecs by winning the last four encounters.

- Alicia Aguilar is quietly having a strong year for the Aztecs. A mid-season addition, the freshman from Mexico is 4-1 in singles and was one of two players to earn SDSU a team point against 20th-ranked Washington. In doubles, she is 3-2 overall, while playing with three different players.
