SAN DIEGO - The 58th-ranked San Diego State women's tennis team will play host to Loyola Marymount on Sunday, Feb. 23, at noon. The outing will mark the second of a three-match homestand at Aztec Tennis Center. SDSU will look to turn around a recent skid as it takes on the Lions.

Last season, the Aztecs dominated the Lions at the Aztec Tennis Center, 6-1. SDSU took the point in doubles play and picked up five out six wins in singles action. San Diego State holds an impressive 20-2 record over LMU in the two school's all-time meetings.
The Scarlet and Black is coming off a loss against No. 9 Southern California on Tuesday, which boasts five nationally-ranked singles players and three ranked doubles teams. Prior to Tuesday's event, all three of SDSU's doubles teams earned victories in its match against 35th-ranked Saint Mary's on Saturday, with junior Kristin Buth and sophomore Tami Nguyen picking up wins in singles action.
The Aztecs are 4-6 on the season and 4-2 at home and are looking to pick up win No. 5 this weekend against LMU. San Diego State will conclude its three-match homestand against South Florida next Thursday, Feb. 27, at 2 pm.
