SDSU Women's Tennis Match Closed to Public
March 2, 2005
SAN DIEGO - Due to ongoing construction at SDSU Tennis Stadium, the March 3 women's tennis match between San Diego State and Michigan will take place, but will not be open to the public.
"The facility is still a construction site according to the state fire marshal," said Associate Athletic Director of Facilities and Operations Jim Spillers. "Due to prior engagements at other sites, this was our only option in which to play the match."
The 68th-ranked Aztecs come into the match with a record of 5-3, having won two consecutive, while No. 28 Michigan is 3-5 on the season.
