No. 52 Aztecs Ready For Two-Match Weekend
The San Diego State women's tennis team is set to play host to Marquette on Friday, March 15 at 2 pm. The Aztecs will then face No. 15 California on Sunday, March 17 at 12 pm. Both matches will be played at Aztec Tennis Center.

SDSU will be eager to get back on the courts as the last match the tennis team was to play was postponed due to weather. San Diego State has not seen action since March 2 when the Aztecs defeated host Hawai'i, 6-1.

Scouting the Golden Eagles
Marquette is coming off a 5-2 loss to UC Irvine on Monday. The Golden Eagles would pick up only one win in doubles play to drop the point. Marquette notched two victories in singles action but the two would not be enough to overcome the Anteaters. With the loss, the Golden Eagles are on a four-match skid. The matchup against SDSU on Friday will conclude a six-match road trip for Marquette.

Head coach Jody Bronson is in her 28th year leading the women's tennis team. Bronson has amassed an overall record of 331-293 during her time with the Golden Eagles.

Scouting the Golden Bears
No. 15 California is coming off a decisive 7-0 sweep over No. 31 Washington on Saturday, March 9. The Golden Bears swept every match and dropped only one set to defeat the Huskies. California boasts four-ranked singles players in No. 3 Zsofi Susanyi, No. 9 Anett Schutting, No. 57 Lynn Chi and No. 108 Klara Fabikova. Also sitting in the ITA rankings are two Golden Bear doubles teams. Zsofi Susanyi and Klara Fabikova are sitting at No. 20 while Lynn Chi and Anett Schutting are ranked 40th.

Amanda Augustus is in her sixth year as California's head coach. An alum of Cal and one of the most successful players in the Golden Bear's women's tennis program history, Augustus has seen multiple trips the the NCAA finals and produced numerous ITA All-Americans in her short time as head coach.
