SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's tennis team continues its three-match homestand this week by taking on No. 40 Harvard on Wednesday, March 19, at 2 p.m. SDSU is 5-4 at home this season.

Harvard brings one nationally ranked singles player in No. 107 Spencer Liang and one ranked duo in No. 64 Liang and Monica Lin. The Ivy League school is coming off a close win at Clemson, 4-3, which raised its season record to 6-2.

The last time the Aztecs took on the Crimson was at home in March of 2009, beating Harvard 6-1. SDSU had a dominating performance as it swept the Crimson in doubles play and won all but one in singles action. The Crimson are 1-1 in games away from home this season with the Aztecs holding a 3-2 record over Harvard in the two-school's all-time meetings.

San Diego State was unable to rally against No. 75 Louisville at home Friday as it dropped the decision 5-2. The Cardinals and their nationally-ranked twosome proved too much for the Scarlet and Black by taking an early lead in doubles play. No. 37 Laura Antonaña Iriarte and sophomore Tami Nguyen picked up two wins in singles action in SDSU's eventual loss to Louisville.

Standing at 5-9 on the season, the Aztecs look to pick up another win this week against Harvard before heading into their first conference match this season and final of this homestand by facing Boise State on Tuesday, March 25.
