SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's tennis team opens its conference play for the 2014 season with a match against Boise State. SDSU will take on the Broncos at home on Tuesday, March 25, at 2 p.m., concluding its three-match homestand.

The Broncos are 1-1 in conference play with a 6-1 loss to Fresno State and a win over Utah State with an identical score. BSU was slightly edged on Sunday by Cal State Northridge, 4-3. Boise State is 8-6 on the season and 1-1 in matches away from home.

Last season, the Aztecs dominated BSU at home, 6-1, which completed a weekend Mountain West sweep for SDSU. The Scarlet and Black took the doubles point and won all but one of its matches in singles action. San Diego State is undefeated against the Broncos in the two school's all-time meetings, 5-0.

SDSU ended a three-match skid Wednesday afternoon against No. 37 Harvard, 6-1, at Aztec Tennis Center. The Aztecs earned a victory in doubles play and clinched the win in singles competition when sophomore Isabelle Hoorn defeated her opponent in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.

San Diego State is 6-9 on the season as it looks for another win this week against Boise State. The Aztecs will then hit the road to take on Fresno State, Friday, March 28.
