The San Diego State women's tennis team will get its season underway on Friday as it plays host to the first edition of the SDSU Fall Classic. The tournament, which will conclude on Sunday, is set for Aztec Tennis Center. Admission is free all three days.

Doubles action will start each day at 9 a.m. PT. There is one bracket featuring eight teams and another with four tandems.

Singles will commence following the conclusion of doubles. There are three brackets with eight competitors in each draw.

Joining the Aztecs in the tournament are Cal State Northridge, Duke, Loyola Marymount and cross-town foe San Diego.

Two nationally ranked singles players will take the court this weekend and both hail from San Diego State. Senior Julia Trunk comes in with a preseason ITA ranking of 51, while sophomore Alicia Aguilar sits at No. 65.
