Women's Tennis to Play Host to SDSU Fall Classic II

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego State women's tennis team is set to play host to its third and final tournament of the fall, the SDSU Fall Classic II. The event will take place at Aztec Tennis Center from Friday, Nov. 9, through Sunday, Nov. 11.
Scheduled to compete with San Diego State on Montezuma Mesa are Arizona, Kansas, Middle Tennessee, SMU, Utah and Washington.
Each day will start with doubles at 9 a.m. PT before moving into singles action. There are three doubles draws and five singles brackets.
The Aztecs will look to build on their success from the SDSU Fall Classic I, which was held Sept. 28-30, at the Aztec Tennis Center. At the three-day tournament, San Diego State claimed four championship titles. Senior duo Julia Wais and Alicia Aguilar completed a perfect weekend to take the doubles title. Claiming singles crowns at the season opener were Aguilar, Tamitha Nguyen and Kristin Buth.
Admission to the SDSU Fall Classic II is free and fans are encouraged to park in Parking Structure 5, which is on the corner of 55th Street and Montezuma Road. A $1 per hour permit is required to park in PS5.
