Cross Country: Ran in all seven of the Aztecs' races during the 2014 cross country campaign ... was the team's top finisher at the NCAA West Regional (6K) on Nov. 14 in 22:25.6 and also at the Aztec Invitational (5K) on Sept. 20 in 19:32.80 ... also was SDSU's No. 2 runner at the Mark Covert Classic (5K) on Aug. 30 in 19:51.3, and in back-to-back races at the Stanford Invitational (6K) in 23:31.0 on Sept. 27 and the Highlander Invitational (5K) on Oct. 18 in 18:17.4 ... had an impressive three top-10 overall finishes, coming in seventh of 67 at the Aztec Invite, ninth of 82 at the Highlander Invite and ninth of 94 at the Mark Covert Classic.

Outdoor Track and Field:
Ran four times in the 5,000 over the season and twice in the 10K ... made her outdoor debut in the 5K at the UCSD Collegiate on March 15, taking third in 18:12.31 ... was second in the save event on March 28 at the Aztec Invitational in 17:46.21 ... took second in the 10K at the Cal/Nevada Championships on April 4 in 37:20.17 ... came in 12th in the open 10K in 37:31.50 at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 17 ... took fourth in the 5K at the Triton Invitational on April 25 in 17:54.08 ... saved her best for last, running a huge PR in the 5K in 17:26.11 at the Oxy Invitational on May 10.

Indoor Track and Field: Did not compete during the indoor campaign.

2012-13 (at San Diego Mesa College)
Ran two seasons (2012-13 track and field, 2012-2013 cross country) at San Diego Mesa College, where she excelled in the distance events ... this year (2013) in cross country was fifth at the California Community College State Championships, first in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Championships and second in the Southern California Championships ... ran outdoor track and field best times of 11:28.11 in the 3,000 and 18:47.90 in the 5,000.

High School
Ran three years at local Westview High School ... was a 2010 California State High School Cross Country Championships participant ... helped the Wolverines take seventh at the 2010 Division II State Cross Country Championships (Westview had never done that well at state before and still hasn't achieved a better team ranking), while winning the CIF San Diego Section, Division II Championships ... owned high school track and field best times of 5:39.0 in the 1,600 (2011) and 11:52.88 in the 3,200 (2011).

Grace Hanshaw was born April 3, 1993, in Fairfax, Va. ... parents are Rick and Mary Hanshaw ... will major in kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy.
