Excelled in the 400-meter hurdles, placing within the top 10 in seven of the eight events she competed in ... Won gold in the 400-meter hurdles at the Aztec Invitational (1:04.12) and set a new personal record in her fourth-place finish in the event at the Triton Invitational (1:01.71) ... Placed seventh in the 400-meter hurdles at the MW Championships (1:01.68) ... Also competed in the 200 and the 400 for the Aztecs and set new personal records in both events at the Calif. Collegiate Invite (26.68 and 59.80) ... Garnered MW All-Academic status for the spring semester.

Indoor Track and Field: Did not compete during the indoor season.

Outdoor Track and Field: A regular competitor for the Aztecs in the 400-meter hurdles with seven appearances, qualifying for the MW Championships in the event (15th, 1:05.77) ... Opened the season with two top-five finishes in the event: at the San Diego Collegiate Championships (1:05.38) and the Aztec Invitational open (1:04.08) ... Collegiate-best time (1:03.95) came in a 13th-place finish at the Triton Invitational ... Also finished 13th at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational (1:04.27) ... Lone 4x400-meter relay appearance of the year resulted in a fourth-place finish (4:09.91) at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge.

Indoor Track and Field: Competed in the 400 at the NAU Challenge (31st, 1:02.47).

Outdoor Track and Field: Made her Aztec debut at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge, finishing 16th (27.59) in the 200-meter race and 11th (1:01.88) in the 400... placed fourth (1:07.94) at the Ross & Sharon Irwin Invite on March 21... achieved top 10 times in the 400-meter hurdles at the Aztec Invite (4th, 1:06.07) and Mangrum Invite (8th, 1:06.30)... completed her season at the UCSD Triton Invite and finished 20th (400mH) with a time of 1:06.71.

Indoor Track and Field: Did not compete during the indoor season.

Lettered four years of track and field at Junipero Serra High School in San Diego, Calif....boasts personal-best times in outdoor competition in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.41 and a school-record time of 15.06 in the 100mH...advanced to the CIF San Diego Section Finals in the 2012-14 seasons...received the team's hurdler award in 2011 and 2012...earned MVP honors during the 2013-14 seasons.

Jasmine Young was born September 1, 1996 in San Diego, Calif. ...daughter of Melvin and Mary Young... youngest of five siblings...her favorite athlete is Allyson Felix...plans to double major in criminal justice and political science with a minor in sociology and hopes to become a civil rights lawyer.
