The San Diego State track and field team officially begins its 2014 season this weekend at the Cherry & Silver Invitational at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M.

The Aztecs, who have won the past two Mountain West Track and Field Championships (2013 indoor and 2013 outdoor) and are just out of the top 25 in the USTFCCCA indoor preseason poll at No. 33, will be sending 14 to the meet.

Multi-event specialists Nicole Oudenaarden and Allison Reaser are slated to compete in five events apiece.
