SAN DIEGO - Sixth-ranked San Diego State is set for a busy week where it will play three times in four days. The Aztecs will play host to the Brazilian Junior National Team on Thursday before heading to Cal State Northridge on Saturday and UCLA on Sunday.

The game vs. the Brazilians is set for Thursday at 3 p.m. PT inside Aztec Aquaplex and is an exhibition. Before heading south to San Diego, the Brazilian Junior National Team will play at UC Irvine on Wednesday.

Following the friendly, the Aztecs (10-6, 0-1 Big West) will hit the road for a pair of games in Los Angeles County. SDSU will continue Big West Conference action at No. T-15 Cal State Northridge (12-5, 0-0 Big West) on Saturday with first sprint scheduled for noon PT. Then on Sunday, San Diego State will face an old Mountain Pacific Sports Federation foe in third-ranked UCLA (16-3), which is also slated for a noon start.

The Aztecs will look to pick up their first-ever Big West victory against a Matador side they are seeing for the first time in 2013. San Diego State dropped its conference opener last Saturday to UCI, 6-5, at Aztec Aquaplex. CSUN, meanwhile, will open its league slate on Friday vs. UC Davis and enter the game on a four-game winning streak.

The date vs. the Bruins will mark the second of the year for the Aztecs after they opened the campaign on the short end of a 12-8 score at the Michigan Kick-Off. UCLA will play host to California on Saturday before returning to Spieker Aquatics Center to roll out the red carpet for San Diego State. Despite its impressive 16-3 record, the Bruins enter the weekend having dropped its last outing to Arizona State and two of their last three games.

Through 16 games, Amber Pezzolla leads the team with 40 goals on 90 shot attempts. The 40 goals are 28 short of tying for the 10th most in SDSU single-season history. On the career list, however, Pezzolla has 198 goals, which is the seventh most in program history. Behind Pezzolla in scoring this season is Anique Hermann, who has 22 goals. Her goal percentage of 46.8 is the highest among Aztecs who have at least 40 shot attempts.

Defensively, freshman Rachel Mitchell has 202 saves and should have no problem entering the SDSU single-season record book. Heather Stiles currently holds the 10th position with 241 stops in 2002. In the field, Pezzolla and Hermann each have a team-best 30 steals and Alex Ford is right behind them with 26. In fact, Pezzolla needs just four steals to tie the all-time mark of 268 set by Megan Dunbar.

Following this week's action, San Diego State will return to campus to play host to UC Davis on Friday, March 15. The Big West game is set for 3 p.m. PT.
